Bruntsfield
Bruntsfield is an upmarket, mainly residential area that is full of excellent independent restaurants, bakeries, patisseries, coffee shops and bars. You’ll find an old-fashioned cinema here, housed in a renovated theatre and although it’s not at all a tourist area, a 25-30 minutes walk will take you to Old Town or the city centre.
Enjoy a coffee at Artisan Roast, while away a rainy afternoon with a movie at the Cameo or Dominion cinema and finish the evening with a steak and chips, washed down with a cocktail, at The Chop House.
