Located at the top of the Royal Mile, the Witchery is located just a five-minute walk from where you stay. Treat yourself to an atmospheric afternoon tea in the heart of Old Town.
Located in the atmospheric Old Town and hidden away up Advocates Close, The Devil’s Advocate is an excellent bar & restaurant. All of their food menu is changed regularly, boasting Scottish ingredients and seasonal pairings. It’s a fantastic location to grab a bite to eat after a day of exploring the Royal Mile.
Makar’s Mash Bar is a gourmet, award-winning restaurant curated around their signature mash combinations. We recommend trying the Slow Cooked Lamb Shank for a showstopper meal. Plant-based diet? Try out their delicious Roasted Chestnut & Carrot Haggis - guaranteed to impress your taste buds.

St Giles Cathedral
St Giles’ Cathedral was founded in 1124 by King David I and can be found just a short walk down from Edinburgh Castle, on the Royal Mile. The famous Cathedral is free to enter and offers regular traditional concerts as well as architecture.
